J. DAV — Music’s Future

Here on The Rap Wave, we love to write about artists who we believe will breakthrough in the music industry and inspire the most. This artist from Boston, Massachusetts that goes by the name “J. DAV” is definitely one we believe fits that category.

Being a “music nerd” since he was a toddler, J. DAV was destined to become who he is today. A moment that impacted him, and made him realize he wanted to do music for the rest of his life, was one that took place when he was 15. J. DAV and his friends had their very first opportunity to perform a song in front of their high school. He said; “I felt super ready, but the second we got called up to the stage, I just felt trapped and all of my insecurities started kicking in”. This moment inspired him to write his very first song which is called “Anxiety”, which released this past September.

In his music, you can hear the inspiration from artists such as Twenty One Pilots, Imagine Dragons, half•alive, and Coldplay. We are not saying he is like all the other artists though, something that makes him unique is that with every song he writes, there is a purpose. He wants the people to relate with the real-life experiences he dealt with, as nobody has went through a negative experience that no one else has. J. DAV says; “I know I will be able to guide people through life with my songs. Life is not easy, but when you got the right people by your side, that’s a sign that everything will be okay”.

J. DAV has so much planned for 2022. He is currently working on his debut EP, which eh says will have about seven songs on it. The first single to said EP will be released sometime by March. He says that is really excited to show it to the world.

To conclude, J. DAV is definitely an artist unlike the others. He has real potential to become a great in his field, and we believe you as a reader should stop, and watch his come-up with us, it will not let you down.
